This almost makes me want to have children.
So yesterday I showed the Honeybee video to my english class for a poetry project. They all think I’m really weird already because I genuinely enjoy Shakespeare, so they just sort of accepted it. I tried to explain it a bit, bit I don’t think they could quite comprehend a band having a fictional backstory. Oh well.
Anyway, the point of this post is to say that today my teacher unexpectedly played a song by Steam Powered Giraffe in the middle of class. My face turned red and I had a bit of a flaily moment. Then the teacher kept pausing and playing it and everyone watched with amusement as I freaked out every. single. time. I just really like them, ok? And I’m not used to hearing music I like outside of my own headphones.
Yeah. I don’t know why I’m allowed in public either.
